Jessica has years of experience in bit fitting. A Bitbank Australia Accredited Bit Specialist, Jessica also has trained with the NS Academy obtaining her Certificate in Equine Bits and Bitting Science with Distinction.

Jessica is currently training with Evo Equine to obtain her qualification in Advanced Bits and Bridle Fitting. This will be her 3rd bitting qualification and allow her to utilise a deeper understanding of bridle fit in her consultations.

Jessica is also a certified Equine Photonic Therapy practitioner but is not currently practicing however, this provides an understanding of equine anatomy and biomechanics that comes into play in her bitting consultations.

Jessica has been a rider for over 30 years and has seen and ridden many different types of horses.

Back in her Pony Club days she competed successfully in showjumping, dressage and mounted games. These days she focuses on dressage.

Jessica owns several horses and is lucky enough to still have her first horse who has been with her for 27 years!

Jessica has a friendly and welcoming way of conducting her appointments. 

Her approach is to identify the cause of behaviours related to the bit and suggest a suitable replacement and removing the source of discomfort.

Jessica has a holistic approach to her assessments and with her background knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, can identify other issues that may be causing discomfort and if necessary will refer to a suitable practitioner, such as a saddle fitter or a vet.

As a totally independent fitter Jessica has no bias towards any brands or stores.
